Olga Lishina is a poetess, co-author of songs for the folk-rock band Melnitsa, and a children's literary tutor.

This book was created using a mixed media technique, combining digital illustration in Procreate with traditional handmade collages. The result is a playful book that retains the warmth of handcrafted art. For some scenes, I built entire still lifes out of tiny paper tableware; in others, I used subtle accents—like paper tears—through which the protagonist travels.
Just as children live with one foot in a world of fantasy, the watercolor magic in my illustrations seeps into the digital art.
